Is rising fuel price a big concern for Indians?

 Are Fuel Prices Fueling Problems?

One of the biggest concerns for the citizens of India these days is the ever-increasing prices of fuel. Each day fuel prices are breaking the highest-ever record, leaving people baffled in its wake. While the petrol and diesel prices had hit the Rs. 80- and Rs. 70-mark last year, this year it has crossed Rs. 100 and Rs. 90, respectively. And since the entire nation is literally running on fuel, its prices impact the values of all the commodities too.


So, directly or indirectly, petrol prices start pinching every pocket. Taking this issue up for our latest poll, we asked 2,590 respondents whether they, too, think rising fuel prices are a big concern for Indians. Unsurprisingly, 88.96% of the respondents think it is a cause for concern, and 4.21% believe it is not. 5.68% reply with an ambivalent maybe, and 1.16% don't know.
