Will It Be Phir Ek Baar Modi Sarkar? In the upcoming 2024 elections, the biggest question will remain whether Mr. Narendra Modi will get his winning hat trick or not. To say a lot has happened under his tenure would be an understatement. From demonetization and the rolling out of GST to the farmer's protest and the pandemic, the Modi government has seen it all. With it, while he has gained some new followers, some loyalists have begun questioning their choice. To understand this dynamic better, we at Opinion Bureau conducted a poll with 3,074 respondents. 50% of them want Mr. Modi to be the Prime Minister again in 2024, while 22.19% say they have lost confidence in him. 15.55% of the respondents reveal they never preferred him in the first place, 7.42% don't know, and 4.85% prefer not to say. The Gross Domestic Product (GDP) of a country is a measure of its national success. It is indicative of the economic growth observed during a particular period, reflecting where the economy stands vis-vis the entire world. It is interesting to note that the GDP is not just an economic concept, but social, political, cultural, and religious events impact its outcome too. Like in the current times with the world gripped in the throes of the pandemic the GDP has and will take a hit. To add to the complexity of the situation is how the government handles the task. And so, we conducted a poll with 1,659 respondents, asking them whether they think India's GDP will rise as expected under the current government. 35.24% agree with the statement, while 18.07% strongly agree with it. 23.80% of the respondents maintain a neutral stance, as 13.98% disagree and 8.92% strongly disagree with the claim. With such varied opinions, we can only cross our fingers and hope that everything turns out well...
